Larsen Development Races to Support the Children’s Fund for Children’s Hospital:
A Larsen Development team just completed the 2011 Courage Classic Bike Race. In what has become an annual event for “Team Larsen”, this 157-mile, 3-day bike race through the Rockies, benefits the Denver Children’s Hospital. This year’s route wound from Leadville to Summit County and back and included quiet backcountry roads, challenging climbs and picturesque views.Proceeds from the race and team sponsorships help to allow Children’s Hospital improve the care they offer to the children who walk through their doors. Children’s Hospital served more than 158,000 patients in 2010, and expects to see even more infants, children and teens in the years to come.
A portion of Courage Classic fundraising proceeds also went to help support the Hospital Sports Program, which helps patients with physical disabilities experience freedom from physical challenges through activities like skiing, snowboarding, fishing and cycling.
Larsen Development Supports "Girls and Guys for a Cure"
Larsen Development Company is proud to be a sponsor of the "Girls and Guys for a Cure" bike team. The team is composed of a group of people from around the country who have all been affected by cancer in one way or another who have joined together in their love of cycling.
