The park is a magnet for families with its large playground, tennis courts, and grassy areas perfect for picnics and soccer games. Along Colorado Boulevard, residents enjoy retail shops, restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores and services. More restaurants, services and grocery stores lie just south of Alameda and at 3rd and Holly.City and Front Range views are truly magnificent at the 23-acre Cranmer Park, the highest point of the neighborhood and adjacent to the historic Cranmer Mansion. Each winter finds Hilltop children eagerly gathering at Robinson Park for sledding on its perfect inclines.
Belcaro
Just east of Bonnie Brae and south of Cherry Creek Drive, Belcaro’s winding, tree-lined streets showcase large, 1960s ranch-style homes and new, two-story homes on expansive lots. The neighborhood’s stunning centerpiece and namesake is the Phipps Mansion (originally named Belcaro by its owner, Colorado Senator Lawrence Phipps). Belcaro’s City of Brest Park provides a lovely green space for picnicking alongside Cherry Creek.
