Larry Larsen



As the founder of the company, Larry is your first contact in the design/build process. He will meet with you to discuss your dreams for your new home and then designs an individualized plan to satisfy your lifestyle. Larry’s career began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Kansas State University and a stint in the U.S. Navy Corp of Engineers, where he oversaw the construction of hundreds of homes all over the world. He gained further experience during his tenure at two major home building companies, eventually serving as Region President for both, and then founded his own company in 1986. Over the course of his highly regarded career, Larry has overseen the construction of several thousand homes, bringing his enduring passion for creating exceptional homes to every project. Larry and his wife, Interior Designer Hillary Reed, are Washington Park residents themselves, and celebrate their ever-widening circle of clients and neighbors by hosting parties at their home. Larry also enjoys road biking, fly fishing and spending time with his grandsons.

Jeff Englund






As President at Larsen Development, Jeff is responsible for overseeing the company’s construction quality,  budget, and schedule as well as our best practices and day to day operations.  He has hands-on experience in the construction field that gives him a keen understanding of the process of building a home. He takes the lead on managing our important trade partner, client and building relationships. Jeff is personally involved in all steps of the process from architectural design and budgets to construction. Jeff manages quality control and timelines for Larsen’s architectural and structural construction drawings for a smooth transition from the design to permit to build process.  He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver where he received a Master of Architecture, as well as a Master of Business Administration. Jeff also received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture. In his free time, Jeff loves playing basketball, softball, golf and spending time with his two boys and wife.


Lauren Browne



Lauren is responsible for the every day operations of the Larsen office. She manages the monthly draw process, human resources, marketing, process development, and making sure our team has everything they need to work effectively. She works closely with our local lenders to ensure that the financial investment in your new home is a positive and stress free experience. Lauren graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Lauren is a transplant from Steamboat Springs, Colorado and enjoys skiing, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family of four.

Patrick Englund






Patrick Englund is a Project Manager with Larsen Development, and is responsible for overseeing the daily construction processes. He attended the University of Northern Colorado Greeley, and has extensive knowledge of the building industry from his past experience specializing in exterior finishes of residential homes. In his spare time he enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing, skiing and playing softball.

Shane Hunt






Shane Hunt is the Project Manager with Larsen Development who specializes in custom remodels. His experience and knowledge of residential construction comes from a career of over 20 years in the business. Two of the custom homes he constructed were recognized by with the Bar Award, which is one of the most prestigious honors in the industry. Shane brings a creative mind and detailed organized approach to the remodel process. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, going to see live music, and spending time with his two little girls.

Cory Leal



Cory is a Project Manager with Larsen Development and a graduate from the University of Arkansas.  He grew up around construction, and his extraordinary organizational skills and attention-to-detail keep projects on time, on budget, and of the highest quality.  He constantly strives to improve the process at every turn to keep the build as efficient as possible.  One of Cory’s last homes he built, is up for 3 Awards at the 2019 Denver MAMEs. In his spare time, you’ll find Cory in the mountains skiing, backpacking, biking, and golfing; or restoring vintage furniture in his garage.


Jim Gunther



Jim is Larsen’s Architectural Design Team Leader who aids in the concept development and design creation of your dream home. As an Architectural Designer with 35 years of experience designing homes throughout the metro Denver area, he brings a unique eye and skill set to each project. He has designed a multitude of homes from 1,000 square foot ranches to 6,000 square foot custom estates. Jim also has a structural design background and creates one-of-kind hand renderings that bring your concepts and ideas to life. On the weekends, Jim and his wife enjoy spending time with their nine grandchildren.

PattiPatti Thorne



Patti is the Design Resource Manager and is responsible for managing interior design appointments and managing the selection process documentation for our clients and with our vendors. Over the past 20 years she has worked in an extensive customer service role in the housing industry and brings this trait to Larsen assuring clients a unique home personalization experience. Originally from Boston, Patti has lived in Colorado for 28 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband while golfing and traveling.

Ann Thornton







Ann is the Selections Manager at Larsen Development and is responsible for attending all design meetings between our clients and our vendors. She is an asset to our design team in providing clients guidance during the selections and interior design process. She also offers a direct conduit back to the main office and field for all meeting communications. Ann earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaii – Manoa and a Masters of Education from the University of Washington, in Seattle. On weekends she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, and skiing.

Jeff is Larsen Development’s Controller.  He creates and helps us to execute on detailed business plans and oversees the day to day financial management for our growing organization.  Accurate and timely client construction reimbursement draw schedules are a priority as well as the payment and lien waiver management for all Vendors and Trades. Jeff brings many years of expertise in construction financial management to Larsen to ensure that every vendor is paid timely and our projects stay on schedule. Outside of work you can usually ‘not find’ Jeff as he will be fly fishing in the most remote locations along rivers in Colorado and all over the US.
